Attention is drawn to engineering projects being undertaken at the Robert Gordon University's School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. Outlines are given of condition monitoring and life management of electrical drive systems; condition monitoring of high voltage machines on offshore installations; flow visualization by multi-element hot-wire anemometry; novel techniques for identification monitoring and enhancing dissolution of mineral deposits in petroleum pipelines; and enhancement and restoration of ultrasonic images.
