Outlook for the supply of carbon-based energy to 2010. S. O'Dell. Energy, Explor. Exploit., 1996, 14(3/4), 243--263.

It is considered that over the next 15 years the overall energy structure will become more global and supply problems are expected to be unlikely, depending to some extent on resources still to be discovered. Non-OPEC and OPEC supply is discussed and natural gas is expected to be influenced by the expansion of gas infrastructure including pipelines, liquefaction and re-gasification plants and tankers. It is concluded that the majority of regions are unlikely to face restrictions in coal availability.
