Application of horizontal wells to a tight-gas sandstone reservoir---a case history. R.C.P. Guyatt and J.P. Allen. SPE Reservoir Engng., August 1996, 11(3), 203--209.

Consideration is given to the application of horizontal wells in the tight-gas-bearing Rotliegendes formation in the North Sea. The analysis methods used and the results of applying horizontal well technology in the development of the Anglia gas field are reported. It is also shown how the method enabled the Anglia field, a marginal gas accumulation, to be developed successfully. 3 refs.
