Tabulated data are presented which show that costs for four of the five equipment items which make up the Nelson-Farrar miscellaneous equipment cost index rose moderately in 1992-1993 period. The exception being the heat-exchanger category which dropped steadily from January 1992 to December of 1993. Greatest increase among the other four components was pumps-compressors, rising from 64.2 points. Electric machinery rose only 9.51 points, instruments gained 30 points, and engines gained 17.6 points.
