Managing natural gas volume analysis. J. Parker, R. Treat and H. Bergen. Pipeline Gas J., July 1994, 221(7), 36--39.

A system for automated verification and statistical correction of gas volume data is described. It is a joint venture by Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America and BMP Energy Systems. The design complies with the requirements of FERC Order 636 and it is known as NGAS 4. The integrated gas accounting system consists of three integrated modules. These are volume calculation and meter database management, hardware and software for chart integration, and a system for automated EFM validation and statistical correction. Each of these features is described.
