Guide to world crudes---Colombia's new light, sweet Cusiana crude assayed. A.K. Rhodes. OGJ, 11 December 1995, 93(50), 71--73.

A consortium led by Ecopetrol is quickly developing a 36 degrees API, 0.25 wt% sulphur crude into one of the largest volume light, sweet crudes in the Western Hemisphere. Tabulated data are presented showing Cusiana's true boiling point data, and properties of relatively narrow heavy distillate fractions are listed. A detailed assay is given, performed on a sample taken in January 1995.
