Adsorption of n-hexane and intermediate molecular weight aromatic hydrocarbons on LaY zeolite. D.M. Ruthven and B.K. Kaul. Ind. Engng. Chem. Res., June 1996, 35(6), 2060--2064.

Experimental equilibrium isotherms, Henry's law constants and heats of sorption are presented for n-hexane, bnenzene, toluene, p-xylene, mesitylene, naphthalene, trimethylbenzene and hexamethyl benzene on LaY zeolite. The data provide a basis for estimating adsorbed phase concentrations of hydrocarbons on cracking catalysts under reaction conditions and interpretation of kinetic rate data. 2 refs.
