Consideration is given to the applications and limitations of pressure-transient tests in the evaluation of naturally fractured reservoirs. The homogeneous reservoir model, multiple region or composite reservoir model, anisotropic reservoir model, single-fracture model, and double-porosity model are described together with graphical illustrations. 23 refs.
