The Energy Research Group at the University of Exeter has a unique combination of scientific, engineering and policy expertise in renewable energy and applies this to produce world-leading research and teaching.

Our portfolio of undergraduate and research degree programmes in renewable energy engineering are an excellent career foundation within the internationally expanding renewable energy sector. The vast majority of our graduates are employed in areas related to their degree and employability is excellent. We are a founding organisation in the Peninsula Research Institute of Marine Renewable Energy (PRIMaRE) carrying out research in all elements of wave energy.
