Technology transfer---a tool for competitiveness---two case studies of technology transfer in the technical assistance to Pequiven, S.A. (In Spanish). J.M. Garnica et al. Vision Technologica, 1996, 4(1), 41--50.

Two successful technology transfer processes to Pequiven are reviewed---chlorine-alkali membrane and combustion technologies at the El Tablazo complex of Pequiven. The processes are depicted by means of Intevep's contribution and participation. Although the two cases are described and explained following a technology transfer model, they should be viewed as practical experience, primarily involving people. The positive impact on Pequiven operations derived from transfer processes is shown. 18 refs.
