Charts integrated into company's gas SCADA, EFM system. J. Diven and Bartle. Pipeline Gas Ind., March 1997, 80(3), 37--42.

Two data management systems for controlling 5000 miles of intrastate transmission and gathering lines operated by Tejas Gas are discussed. One includes electronic flow measurement (EFM) with SCADA data from 300 remote control units; the other integrates data from1800 chart measurement sites. Implementation, prototype, installation and data maintenance are discussed. The latter includes meter base information, meter monthly information, meter dynamic parameters, gas analysis, and chromotograph entry report. These features are reviewed and reporting aspects are discussed. A gas accounting software module to recalculate volumes previously obtained by integration methods is described.
