Improved measurement quality and reliability in a formation-evaluation LWD system. G.L. Moake et al. SPE Drilling Completion, September 1997, 12(3), 196--202.
A new logging-while-drilling (LWD) tool is described, which is equivalent to a wireline triple-combo. It comprises two tools, resistivity and nuclear, that can be combined or run separately. The tools are designed to reliably provide near-wireline quality measurements. 22 refs.
