The heat map of England

The Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) have published a ground breaking heat map showing heat demand from buildings across England. It provides a range of tools to help developers and planners identify priority areas for low carbon heat projects. The map has been created on DECC's behalf by the Centre for Sustainable Energy, mashing together several very detailed datasets to show heat use at building level. The map can be accessed at http://ceo.decc.gov.uk/nationalheatmap.
