US senators have raised concerns that exporting US LNG could drive up gas prices in North America, reports Keith Nuthall. Some members of the US Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee have called for the LNG to be diverted to the domestic market. Democratic Chairman Jeff Bingaman concluded: ‘Understanding how exports might affect domestic prices is critical.’
