A World Bank report has proposed a $78bn plan to reduce solid fuel usage in east Asia, increasing natural gas, LPG and biogas usage, plus electricity, writes Keith Nuthall. The report, funded by Australian Aid, said solid fuels pose safety and health problems to some 1bn east Asians.
