SulphCo, a Houston-based technology company with a patented ultrasound process designed to desulphurise crude oil products and crude oil, has entered into a technology agreement with OMV Refining & Marketing. Based on results from recent laboratory and field testing of SulphCo’s Sonocracking™ technology, SulphCo and OMV have entered into the agreement to evaluate SulphCo’s technology in several refining applications and determine commercial applicability in OMV’s operations.
