Following its acquisition of Yorkshire Electricity Distribution, CE Electric UK has signed a contract with GE Energy to install the ENMAC™ distribution management software system, which is already in operation at Yorkshire’s sister company Northern Electric Distribution. ‘Once the two systems are integrated it will be possible to manage the two discrete networks within one virtual control room environment, resulting in improved customer service and business efficiencies and benefits,’ states GE Energy.
