The UK Health and Safety Commission (HSC) has issued a new Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) on unloading petrol from road tankers. The publication aims to reduce the risks of fires and explosions and prevent falls from road tankers unloading petrol at filling stations. It gives practical guidance on avoiding overfilling storage tanks, controlling ignition sources, dealing with spillages and fall prevention.
