A new company - Pipetex of Halstead, Essex - has been set up to supply a wide range of products to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries in the UK and Ireland. Initially, the company will be handling the following products, with support from their principals: Jordan electric actuators and modulating control systems; PCI gas/hydraulic actuators and controls; Plidco pipeline repair and maintenance equipment; and Samia flares and combustion equipment. Additional product lines include mechanical valve operating systems and stainless steel clamps. Pipetex is also looking after the interests of Aquatech International Corporation, a US supplier of water treatment plant for large projects on power stations and petrochemical plant.
