Why landfill mining could be the next big thing

The UK company Advanced Plasma Power (APP) has formed a partnership with Leveraged Green Energy (LGE), a private equity fund focused on investing in renewable energy assets. The two organisations plan to use a Belgian land fill site to recycle metal material and also use APP's Gasplasma™ technology to convert methane produced by the rubbish into fuel gas.
