UK will miss carbon emissions targets 'unless government takes urgent action'
David Kennedy, the chief executive of the Committee on Climate Change, has said Britain will miss its carbon emission targets unless new climate change policies are put in place during the next twelve months. Key areas where action is needed include reforming the electricity market, making homes more energy effiicient, encouraging electric cars and reducing the carbon emissions of UK farmers.
