Eight new nuclear power stations planned for England

To ensure future energy supply, the construction of nuclear power stations to replace existing sites and reduce Britain's dependency on fossil fuels is a matter of urgency. The new nuclear plants will mainly be based alongside existing facilities and are expected to be constructed over the next decade. There are currently eight nuclear sites across England which may house all the proposed new reactors.
