Fred Olsen clinches USD3.4m Tunisian contract

Fred Olsen Energy's subsidiary Dolphin Drilling has clinched a USD3.4m drilling contract from Coparex, a Dutch oil independent, for its Bredford Dolphin drilling semi-submersible. The rig will be involved in one well offshore Tunisia for up to 50 days. The programme with Coparex is expected to follow the rig's contract with Saudi Arabian oil independent Nimir Petroleum. Dolphin Drilling is currently preparing the rig for a stint in Tunisia. The Bredford Dolphin is contracted until June 2002.
