Husky files for White Rose development
Canada's Husky Energy has filed a development application with regulators for its proposed White Rose oil field ocated in the North Atlantic 220 miles east of St. John's, Newfoundland, but has yet to decide if the project was viable. Husky and partner Petro-Canada have new-found confidence the costs of the project, touted as the Grand Banks' third major development, could be brought down to a level that would make White Rose a go.
