Lukewarm response to PetroChina issue
PetroChina, once to have been China's biggest privatisation, has failed to attract investors and been priced at the lower end of its range. Shares were priced at HK$1.28 each, according to bankers close to the deal, compared with a price range of between HK$1.24 and HK$1.51 per share.
