FISHING INDUSTRY DEFIANT ON DECOMMISSIONG
The Scottish Fishermen's Federation (SFF) has rejected an environmentalist's claim that the estimated $20bn cost of decommissioning of North Sea installations should be diverted to a seabed clean-up and development of alternative energy sources. SFF general manager Michael Sutherland said the group would not be moved from its view that there should be a maximum removal of infrastructure.
