Government funding for cleaner planes, ships and vehicles, Energy World, May 2020, p 10
In UK, the Government has awarded £37 mn to Newport and 3 other Centres of Excellence for the design, testing and manufacturing of electric propulsion in planes, ships and cars. Included are 14 projects involving 38 major businesses. Also involved will be 21 universities and 13 research organisations headed by Newcastle University.
