DEEPWATER KUITO ONSTREAM AT END OF THE CENTURY
The Angolan subsidiary of Chevron reported today that its Kuito field started production in the last week of December. The company expects output to peak at 100,000 barrels per day by the end of April. Partners are Sonangol (20%). Agip (20%), TotalFina (20%) and Petrogal with 9%.
