BioSNG plant on the way for Cheshire, Energy World, January 2020, p 9

In UK, the first commercial-scale Bio Substitute Natural Gas (BioSNG) plant is to be built at Peel Environmental’s Protos site in Cheshire. The gas will be generated from up to 175 000 tonnes of unrecyclable wood and refuse, and will be used to power up to 1000 HGVs and buses. In the future, the plant could be configured to produce hydrogen.
