China’s e-bus fleet to surpass 1 mn mark by 2023, Petroleum Review, October 2019, p 5

In China, as reported by Wood Mackenzie, the number of electric buses is expected to reach 1 mn by 2023, and 1.3 mn by 2025, with support by over 50 000 charging points. In comparison, the number of such e-buses in US and Europe will reach 40 000 by 2025. The total number of depot charging points installed globally between 2019 and 2025 is likely to be over 68 000.
