Kogas signs US LNG supply deal

South Korea’s state-owned Kogas has signed an agreement to buy 1.58mn t/y of US gas from BP, for 15 years, starting in 2025.The LNG will be delivered from Freeport LNG terminal or Calcasieu Pass.

Kogas’ current 4.9mn t/y LNG contract with Qatar expires in 2025.
