G Norris, Scramjets thrust milestone achieved in USAF tests, Aviation Week & Space Technology, 19 August-1 September 2019, p 16

In US, the Air Force Laboratory and Air Force Test Center report that the 18 ft long scramjet has achieved thrust levels in excess of 13 000 lbf during 30 minutes of testing. This follows an upgrade of the heated air supply incorporating a 12 MW power supply to cater for endothermic fuels.
