AUSTRALIA SWEEPS THE BOARD IN GABON
Gabon has awarded oil exploration licences for two offshore fields to a consortium of Australian oil companies. The licensees of the Themis and Iris fields are Fusion Oil and Gas, Hardman Resources, Horizon Energy and Resources,Millenium Oil Corp and Sunburnt Downs Pastoral Co. The area covered by the permits is around 1,500 sq km and lies south of the town of Gamba.
