A new brochure setting out the EI’s holistic offering in the sphere of energy management and energy efficiency has been published. EI External Affairs Director Nick Turton also took part in a session on how to deliver a comprehensive energy strategy, alongside the EI’s Energy Management Leader of the Year, James Tiernan IEng MEI, Group Energy and Environment Manager at Unite Students.

Earlier in May, the EI also had a presence at the Energyst Event 2019 with two of the EI’s energy management training tutors addressing delegates. Rob Williams, Procurement Manager at BT, tackled the shifting policy and regulatory landscape and its impact on strategies around energy consumption generation and flexibility. Paul Bennett, Managing Director of BSSEC, briefed delegates on effective energy and carbon reporting, in the context of ESOS phase 2 and new SECR requirements.
