Romania to drive gas processing capacity in Europe to 2022

Romania will drive most of the growth in the gas processing industry in Europe between 2018 and 2022, contributing around 94% of Europe’s planned gas processing capacity, according to GlobalData.

Europe is expected to add a total gas processing capacity of 15.8mn cf/d by 2022, from just two plants, with Romania’s Moftinu plant expected to add the lion’s share of around 14.9mn cf/d.
