Green light given to operate as one company under MFG name

The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which was looking into the proposed MFG/ MRH merger, has said the MFG and MRH organisations may combine and conduct business as one company under the MFG name.

Some 52 MRH petrol and diesel stations will be managed independently from the rest of the business during the ‘Hold Separate’ process, 15 of which, together with 23 MFG forecourts, will be sold to comply with CMA requirements.
