EI tie up with IET China

EI President Malcolm Brinded CBE FREng FEI and EI Chief Executive Louise Kingham OBE FEI were in Beijing to build further links with sectoral organisations in mainland China. 

They signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) China, aimed at advancing knowledge and developing skills in energy. Collaboration on events, training and skills, joint publications and presentations are expected to follow, in particular to promote Chartered Engineer status to Chinese engineers.
