In Israel, Eviation Aircraft is developing the Alice aircraft with lithium polymer batteries supplied by Kokam in South Korea. The batteries have an energy density of 260 Wh/kg, and will be built to a capacity of 900 kWh, providing a range of 650 nm at 240 kt cruise at 10 000ft. Ground charging of 0.5 h is expected to provide 1 h of flight. The Alice has three 260 kW motor-driven propellers fitted on the wingtips and tail.
