Wood Group completes Amec acquisition
Wood Group has completed its £2.2mn acquisition of Amec Foster Wheeler, following the sale of Amec’s North Sea assets to Australian engineering group Worley Parsons. The UK Competition and Markets Authority had said it would only green light the acquisition if Amec’s North Sea assets were sold to a new entrant to the market.
