Hydrogen fuel cell customized for UAV, IEEE Engineering 360, 3 January 2017, p 1
In US, the Naval Research Laboratory completed a flight with the Ion Tiger UAV powered by a 5000W hydrogen fuel cell system replacing its original 550W polymer fuel cell. The new cell is formed from metal-foil bipolar plates held together with a backbone of titanium straps.
