In US, researchers at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have become the nucleus of a consortium including Textron Aviation, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Hartzell Propellers and the Argonne National Laboratory’s Center for Transportation that is developing a nine-seater hybrid electric turboprop aircraft the size of the new Cessna Denali.
