In US, Gevo Inc. has produced 1000 gallons of biojet fuel from Pacific NW forest residual wood waste via the isobutanol route which is expected to be used shorty by Alaska Airlines,   Previously, this airline flew two commercial flights on Gevo ATJ derived from corn sugars.
