Total's Shetland Gas Plant officially opened
Amber Rudd MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, has opened the Shetland Gas Plant, operated by Total. Taking gas from the huge Laggan and Tormore fields, it is expected to provide about 8% of the UK's gas needs, or enough for 2 million homes.
