Review of Tidal Lagoons
The review will commence spring 2016 and it will help establish an evidence base to ensure all decisions made regarding tidal lagoon energy are in the best interest of the UK.
The Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change has asked Charles Hendry to lead an independent review into the feasibility and practicality of tidal lagoon energy in the UK. He is seeking evidence and representations that will form the evidence base for the Review. Evidence should be submitted by 31 July 2016. See document attached to this record for full details.
