Petroleum Review November 2015
In this issue:
Tough times demand tough measures. In this month’s issue, the Boston Consulting Group proposes that Big Oil could make significant cost savings if it ‘reboots’ the traditional business model. Moreover, a raft of recent initiatives by Oil and Gas UK aims to boost UKCS efficiency and reduce costs substantially. The launch of a cross-industry Efficiency Charter looks set to drive change in the way oil and gas operators, partners and contractors work, supported by the Oil and Gas Authority.
However, there is little sign that European consumers will benefit from lower energy bills, while European refiners exploit low feedstock prices and high product prices.
